On 2nd November Cultural Centre Trakart presented Boris Shamov`s exhibition “Jazz Masters”. Thirty-two photos shot the greatest performers of modern jazz during their concerts. Unpretentiously, without any fuss, the photos present the eminent performers in action. They recreate the atmosphere, the sense and the tension in the music halls and behind the curtains. On 18th September, 2009 a spectre of colours and shadows invaded the Archaeological subway, especially the space of Cultural Centre Trakart. The eminent French artist Paul Eliot has been inspired by the Caribbean Island Saint Martin, its non-filtrated colours, its loud music and proverbial sentimentality. 12th May, 2009- Cultural Centre Trakart celebrated its 5th anniversary. The feast began with a greeting and performance of Choir “Evmolpia”. Then Sherry Keneson- Hall, cultural attaché at the USA embassy, delivered a brief introductory speech. The official opening was with a unique exposition, entitled “Pro- Thracian Outlook”. On 3rd April Cultural Centre Trakart presented to the public of Plovdiv an exhibition of paintings, created by the artist Eslitsa Popova. She was born in the town of Ruse in 1965. She graduated from the National Academy for Fine Arts, Sofia in the class of Academic Svetlin Rusev in 1991.
